New Voicemail From Howard On Megan's Phone

Megan's cell phone has finally received a new voicemail from Howard!

helveticatt, the owner of Megan's phone, has posted a recording of his latest message.

The recording is a little hard to hear clearly, but here is what I think he is saying:
It's my fault, I see that now(?).
Now it's too late for you to leave Chicago.
I was(?) never going to see you again.
You were my little girl, and it was my job to protect you. I failed.
I'm going to make it up to you, I know how to make it right, I promise.
UPDATE: Here is a mirror of the voicemail file if the link above is not working:

  1. I just want to say thank you so much for all the hard work and diligence that went into this site.being new to the arg universe this site became a valuable resource for a newcomer like me.I know a lot of time and effort went into not only keeping all the clues and hints straight but also keeping the site friendly and comfortable no matter what level of play you are familiar with. being new a lot of sites out there made me feel like I was on the outside because I asked basic questions in the beginning.without that Comfort level I may have missed out on something completely new and so much fun so thanks again for making such a great site. that being said I have posted a few times on this site and gotten a few answers but this one's really important so please help me out. I may be going to see the movie with someone who was pretty much unfamiliar with the Cloververse.I'm pretty sure they like action Para and suspenseful and thrilling movies so if they hadn't seen the first movie is this movie good enough as a standalone film that they still might enjoy it? thanks again I've had a wonderful time and I hope it's not over yet still so many answers need to be found. I hope everybody got out of this both the movie and the game everything they were looking for. see you at the flicks

  3. I just wanted to say thank you for all of your hard work on this film's ARG and the previous film's ARG.

However I must say that I feel absolutely robbed by the movie. I was very upset that this film had nothing to do with the first film but I quickly got over it when I saw the reviews it was getting. So I gave it a shot. I walked in with my girlfriend and we sat down and began to watch. I absolutely enjoyed most of this movie. But the last few minutes of this movie destroyed all hope. Im not gonna spoil anything for those who havent seen it. But I will say I am extremely disappointed with the last 15 minutes of this film. I should've got my money back in all honesty.

    2. Really? I'm surprised. I felt it fit perfectly into the established narrative of trust/mistrust set in play by the characters. Where you think things were bull, they get turned on their head, and things you thought were bull, facts.

    3. I thought the end was a pretty classic denouement, actually, in that it introduced new information that allowed the character to move on with her life <<< that definition courtesy of one of my Sac State English classes. It's not so fashionable to even have one anymore -- we usually hit the climax and roll credits. (Wham, bam, etc.) Here's what Writerific says, "What is the difference between Denouement and Resolution? The Resolution happens when the character solves the main problem/conflict or someone solves it for him or her. The Denouement is the very ending. At this point, any remaining secrets, questions or mysteries which remain after the resolution are solved by the characters or explained by the author. Sometimes the author leaves us to think about the THEME or future possibilities for the characters." http://writerific.blogspot.com/2011/02/breakdown-of-plot-diagrams.html

    1. I was wondering the same thing. Looking forward to being able to discuss the movie in more detail after everyone has seen it. I loved it. Kept me on the edge of my seat the entire movie.
