10 Cloverfield Lane Premiere Red Carpet

The premiere for 10 Cloverfield Lane was last night in NYC, and was attended by the cast, the crew, , some studio people, Amy Schumer, and the dude from Depeche Mode?

I have created an album with all the high-res photos on Imgur, but since there are probably no hidden clues, you can view the normal size photos here:

  1. Hello, I'm Bob. No one loves movies more than me. Trust me. I followed all the viral marketing for Cloverfield and this film. It took me hours and hours. I will see the movie. However, I'm hearing it has nothing to do with the first film. I think this is a huge mistake.

I fell in love with the first Cloverfield. To this day....everyone still ask, "What the hell happened after Central Park?" The whole film was a found footage, so the audience basically was looking at a back story. I loved the Tagruto story line. The Slusho stuff should have been shown more. What made the satellite fall out the sky? A soldier in the first film said," I don't know what it is, but it's winning!" Continue that story. People want that, and want to see monsters.

Think of a great movie everyone loves.... (Back to the Future). Remember that last line. "Where we're going...we don't need roads." Then the audience gasped for air seeing the car could fly, and it said to be continued. I didn't care how long I would have to wait. I wanted to see with everything I had in me. That's how to make Cloverfield. I'm sorry, to say, this film may upset a lot of folks. However, it looks great. However, imagine folks waited years to see Back to the Future 2, and the film did not continue where it last left off at. To much mystery is not good, and it gets me upset. Just think...what over movie had a monster so bad ass that it ripped the head of the Statue of Liberty just to throw it down the street. Then parasites searched out for the main characters. Continue the plot twist.

  2. In Cloverfield, the guy holding the camera in the subway was attacked by parasites. He said after the attack, "One of them tried to carry me away, what was up with that?" Or answering questions about Tagruto and their plans. Did they create it, or find it in the sea with other things? I promise you as a movie fan times ten that people want to see the continuation of the Cloverfield story not anything else. I don't care if there were other monster movies like Pacific Rim or Godzilla. The original Cloverfield struck a chord. Something else major. The main character Rob Hawkins in Cloverfield was hears saying in the post credit scene, "It's still alive." LOL....show that. I would pay ten times over to see that!!!

Calvin Harris (a famous DJ) did a song called, "I need your love." It's a story of two love birds filming themselves with a camera. Hmmmm, sounds familiar....Cloverfiled...hint...hint. Anyway, they lost the camera, but it was picked up by another person. The new person started filming things from their perspective. I felt like I was right there. It's kind of breaking the 4th wall, because I really feel like I'm with these characters. THAT'S WHY CLOVERFIELD WAS A HIT! Get back to that magic. I don't like the reviews I'm hearing, but I will still see it. Don't recreate the wheel...stay with it...it worked!

  3. Just an idea:
Get the guy that played Rob and the girl that played his girlfriend. Someone from the Government finds them, takes them to heal. Then details come out about the monster. Have a small connection to 10 Cloverfield Lane. Let a special military team be developed to deal with the creatures that are attacking people. Let one of the soldiers hold the camera. Have the old monsters, new ones, and show them throughout the film like in Cloverfield. Fill the gaps....show the Tagruto Company. What did they do? Fill the gaps on this Slusho and the six combinations, etc. To much mystery will make people mad. Why did the creature always seem to chase Rob and his friends in the big city called New York? Did they drink slusho at the party? Or was something done to Rob in Japan, and the creature was let loose seeking him out and destroying everything in its path. Think....the monster came down his street. The monster went straight for his brother on the bridge. It cut them off walking down the street, and made an attempt to open its mouth to get Rob, but he fell down the subway steps. There were not parasites in the subway, but then three were seeking Rob and his friend's. Rob saved his girlfriend on the 39th floor, and they did not past by a parasite. Then they were leaving, and a parasite was right there. Why, and did it climb 39 floors just to hang upside down to sleep? The monster jumped through the cloud of smoke to hit the helicopter, and it was nowhere near the park. Then all of the sudden it's in the park looking around as if it sensed something. Rob and his girlfriend ran under the bridge. Normally, the monster would run away when it was bombed. However, it refused to leave the park knowing Rob was there while it was getting bombed. What happened to the camera?

Anyway, I think JJ is cool. As a hard core movie fan....PLEASE LISTEN TO YOUR AUDIENCE.....PEOPLE LOVE MONSTER MOVIES....YOU STRUCK GOLD WITH CLOVERFIELD....CONT. THE STORY FROM WHERE IT ENDED.....PUT ME BACK BEHIND THE CAMERA SO I CAN FEEL LIKE I'M THERE AGAIN.....I WANNA GO BACK TO THAT.....AND WILL GLAD PAY WHATEVER I NEED TO PAY TO DO IT.

Sorry, for any typo's. I didn't know I was going to type all this. Guess I'm that passionate about this. I know a good movie when I see it.
